I am not an native English speaker. So my English is far from being perfect. As a matter of fact is quite the opposite.

So please bear with my spelling.

More than a decade ago I was in contact with three friends native americans. And I asked them about the quality of my English.
First, businesman, japanese translator, with whom I had only mail correspondence, told me sincerely that my English is terrrible. And I agree that he was right.
The second, English teacher, was not so harsh in telling the truth and told that my English is ..."fine", but with indulgency in his voice. Now a decade later he admited that my English improved. I think he is still indulgent :)
The third one, poet and artist, said without hesitation, that my English is perfect since we can discuss any subject without any problem. Almost without, I must add, because at least once I lost many minutes to understand that he is talking about fleas, not about flies :)
